2026 Open Community Gatherings

Our gathering in September 2025

All are welcome to join us on the land at Cressbrook Dale on the following dates in 2026:

Saturday 28 February 2026 (Annual limestone reservoir weeding/clearing - please bring gloves and a trowel/mini spade or fork)

We’ll be there at minimum from 11am to 2pm and you are welcome to camp (or stay in your camper van) on the Friday and/or Saturday night. In good weather we often camp out on the land. We do general clearing and maintenance, as well as a communal food share (bring some easy ready made food), often around the fire pit. The next day we usually go to a Stand in the Park locally - Matlock or Belper.

Head along the public footpath headed North and we'll be somewhere close to the entrance to Litton Frith (the forested area).  You can also park inside the gateposts further down the track if your vehicle is up to driving down the farm track (which can be muddy).  

There are very few facilities on site - so bring everything you need for a day in the country.
